BRING ME CHOPPER BACKUP

Regarding the many, many comments vigorously defending Feral. I used to hate him a lot, but the more I rewatched the show, the more I realized that, jerk though he may be, he's neither stupid nor necessarily wrong, and frequently gets treated unfairly, such as being blamed for Morbulus' escape for some reason in The Giant Bacteria, something which was actually indirectly the SWAT Kats fault, and being prevented from doing the same thing the SWAT Kats do on multiple occasions, often by the same people who endorse them (Manx, Callie). And I find his resolve admirable; people can laugh if they want at how many times he and his men keep trying despite all their failures, but I find this makes them a lot tougher and more dedicated then many people give them credit for. They never give up, they never quit; they go the distance, even if they almost never succeed.

And the Enforcers have had a few victories. They took out the Megasaurus rex in The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice with absolutely no help from the SWAT Kats, and they were the ones who destroyed the alien nest in The Ci-Kat-A. It was also Feral, not the SWAT Kats, who got to the park and rescued Callie and Manx from the bacteria monsters in The Giant Bacteria. But even then, right after this, when Callie would've surely died if not for Feral's timely arrival, she only has eyes for the SWAT Kats ("The Enforcers are here!" "So are the SWAT Kats!" Yeah, you're welcome, blondie.).

Considering all of this, I think people fail to see the reason why Feral is a jerk. He may have been a buffoonish glory hound once (in the flashback in The Wrath of Dark Kat), but his current attitude problems, I believe, are excusable because of how he's treated by basically everyone.

Comparatively, Steel is far worse as far as Enforcers go. If anyone is a glory hound, it's him; Megakat City is lucky he was never in charge enough to do anything except put his feet up on Feral's desk and make people wait apparently just because he can ("Tell 'im to fill out a form!"). Not getting ridding of that traitorous little snotball is one of Feral's weirdest decisions.

And then there's Manx, who, let's see, is greedy, wasting taxpayer money on huge vanity projects that aren't guaranteed to attract foreign businesses (Megakat Tower is a white elephant), only really expressing interest in things that are named after him (he apparently funded Dr. Zyme's work on the mistaken, unspoken assumption he'd call the Viper Mutagen the "Manx Formula," and loses interest as soon as he's told it was called something else), lives off of his famous last name like a leech, and is such a coward he once almost got Callie killed by shoving her off a rescue ladder (admittedly, being scared out of his mind isn't the same as being intentionally malicious; but it was still a shameful act). And yet everyone treats Manx as this lovably goofy guy.

...and despite all that, I still laughed at (and faved!) the pic. Sorry if I'm being a weirdo, but I'm often a big white knight for Feral.
